I did very well in the course getting a 99% on the exam and a 94% final grade. On the downside, I now notice, and am distracted by, grammatical errors. LOL. I enjoyed the course though. It was fun and refreshed my grade school teachings. :)

Diane
Toronto, ONAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933205011038630788.post-39826795468023169772010-07-23T06:11:42.236-04:002010-07-23T06:11:42.236-04:00I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable per...I don't claim to be the most knowledgeable person on earth when it comes to punctuation, but there are several errors that drive me insane. I, too, have had love affairs (mine still ongoing) with ellipses and I'm obviously fond of the parentheses as both of my voices need to share their minds.

Love it!Amyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09068476012668041809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933205011038630788.post-60139060810589267732010-07-22T16:17:46.416-04:002010-07-22T16:17:46.416-04:00I agree with Eternal Lizdom. I try not to use it too frequently in my creative writing, I use it a lot in blog posts and facebook statuses and comments. It's how I think my sentence would end if I were speaking out loud.
