I have been trying to get the stories in my head down on paper for a while now - I have found that writing the BIG scenes is not as hard, it is the little connecting stuff between the big stuff that I struggle with writing down.

So, why do you have to write by hand? I'll try anything! I have 12 books I want to write, and a total of six pages written (most of those pages are just outlines).

And finally, you are a great, relatable writer - you will do great and I can't wait to eventually, hopefully read a finished product.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933205011038630788.post-27832000461603679372012-11-03T22:44:00.319-04:002012-11-03T22:44:00.319-04:00Thanks for the encouragement, friends. But I've been rolling it around my head.

Kim -- Nothing surprises me about you anymore! A good friend is a successful romantic-comedy writer. The more I learn about writing and the publishing process... the more I sit down and write... I, too, find myself saying, "Writing is hard!" But it's a passion I have. An addiction, really. [sigh] Aren't we lucky? :)Rebeccanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-933205011038630788.post-30462042549338652372012-11-01T23:29:49.496-04:002012-11-01T23:29:49.496-04:00I've always found it best to let the character...I've always found it best to let the character develop himself. Let him take on his own personality, and react in ways surprising to you. In other words, let him lead you, don't lead him. Lots more fun that way, too.CWMartinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06798867734074134647noreply@blogger.com
