We got half an inch Friday and the city went into a tizzy- no school, lots of businesses closed. Factor in president's day and Mardi Gras, and it led to a 5 day weekend for a lot of people. My bosses are not so easily convinced however...
Totally with you. No snow days in healthcare. Long commute to Lafayette. I am ready for dry roads and 70 degrees. I will say that the snow is pretty from the comfort of my warm house snuggled up in my blanket.

Maybe you would care to trade commutes? Mine is Indy to Cincy, what's your burdensome one? ;)
As Peyton Manning might say, "throw some dirt on it and get going"...lol

HATING the SNOW. HAAAAAAATE....
@varangianguard - LOL! My husband used the same Peyton Manning quote on me yesterday. Indy to Cincy?! YUCK. How often do you have to do that?
BabyBeezy - I had the impression you all live on the south side. Is that right? And you commute to Lafayette? YUCK for your commute too!
Four times a week, with me driving it twice (Two of us carpool).
It takes one hour and forty-five minutes from my house to the remote parking lot we have to use, so we don't even count the bus riding/waiting times.
On Monday, it took an additional forty-five minutes each way. Makes for long days.
From near Baltimore - leading the nation at over 80 inches of snow this year - I am totally feeling your pain!
